Construction at Maleny Grove has reached an exciting new milestone, with the first homes now underway in Stage 1.

Building approvals have been secured for the first 15 homes, with the first concrete slab poured last week and another set to follow shortly, weather permitting. This marks the beginning of vertical construction, with framing works to commence as slabs are completed.

Preparation of homesites across Stage 1A is continuing, ensuring the next release of homes can progress smoothly, while Stage 1B is nearing handover to the home builder – a key step that will further accelerate construction activity across the community.

Supporting infrastructure is also progressing well, with the internal road through Stage 1B recently completed to enable improved access for builders as works continue.

As construction ramps up, residents can expect to see steady progress on site, with more homes beginning to take shape over the coming months.

Beyond Stage 1, works in Stage 2 are continuing in line with the broader construction program. Installation of essential services, including sewer, stormwater, electrical, communications and water infrastructure, is progressing from Stage 1B into Stage 2. The stormwater detention tank has now been excavated and backfilled, while areas behind the future Community Centre are being prepared for the next stage of development.
