Exciting progress continues at Maleny Grove, with the first new homes nearing completion, work commencing on Stage 2 and several important milestones reached across the community. 

Construction of the first group of new homes is now in its final stages, with internal painting, fixtures, fittings and final fit-out underway. Subject to final inspections and approvals, the first homes are anticipated to be completed in October. 

The next group of homes has progressed to external cladding and rendering, while roofing, framing and concrete slab works continue further along the street. Work has also commenced on the first homes in Stage 2, beginning with site surveys, set-out and preliminary groundworks. 

Across the broader development, civil works are now approximately 87 per cent complete, with remaining works focused largely on Stage 2, including roads and kerbs, drainage, retaining walls and associated services. 

The new village entry is also taking shape, with feature stonework underway and new entry gates being manufactured off-site ahead of installation. New letterboxes have also been installed, while landscaping continues throughout the community with planting, mulching, garden edging, footpaths, soil preparation and turfing. 

Meanwhile, demolition works at the Community Centre are largely complete, including removal of the former alfresco area and existing swimming pool. The old pool area will now be filled and levelled in preparation for redevelopment, while approvals for the Community Centre rebuild and new swimming pool continue to progress. 

With new homes emerging and improvements progressing across the wider community, Maleny Grove’s transformation is becoming increasingly visible as work continues.
