New roads taking shape at Maleny Grove

Construction at Maleny Grove continues to move forward across Stages 1 and 2, with several important pieces of infrastructure now taking shape on site.

One of the most visible milestones is the formation of the new internal roads, where preparation works are well underway. Crews are currently setting road levels, installing reinforced steel and completing formwork ahead of upcoming concrete pours – a key step toward establishing the permanent road network through the community.

Nearby, construction of the project’s bio basin has also commenced. This large drainage feature will play an important role in managing stormwater across the site and improving long-term environmental performance.

Additional progress is being made with retaining wall installation, where drilling and placement of concrete sleeper wall systems has begun. These structures are essential in supporting changes in ground levels across the development and ensuring long-term stability of the site.

Underground services are also advancing steadily. Sewer installation is continuing throughout Stage 1, with crews trenching, laying pipework and preparing for connection to the wider services network. Similar works are taking place in Stage 2, where sewer pipes are currently being installed before trenches are backfilled and compacted to restore ground levels and prepare for the next phase of construction.
