Exciting times as Maleny Grove’s transformation comes to life
It’s full steam ahead at Maleny Grove, with works advancing steadily to prepare the site for the next exciting stages of development.
From earthworks and drainage to landscaped walkways, every step is bringing the village closer to its revitalised future.
Excitement is building around the creation of the new walkway and landscaped garden area, which is already starting to take shape. Vegetation clearing and safety fencing are complete, and a smooth concrete pathway now provides an accessible route for residents. Over the coming weeks, garden beds, fresh turf, and the planting of orchid trees will bring colour, shade, and seasonal beauty to this inviting space. Once finished, the landscaped walkway will provide a welcoming area for residents to enjoy as they move through the village.
Elsewhere, work has also begun on boulder retaining walls, including excavation and footing preparation, laying the foundation for secure, long-lasting structures. Across the village, stormwater infrastructure is being installed, and the northern boulder retaining wall is being extended, helping to shape and stabilise the landscape. The roundabout upgrade has also been successfully completed, improving access and traffic flow for residents and visitors alike.
With plans to increase residences from 28 to 94 – adding 66 architecturally designed villas as well as a new premium lifestyle clubhouse – there will soon be even more reasons to head to our hinterland community.
Maleny Grove Village Manager Tina Sewell said the next stage had been carefully designed to enhance the lifestyle offering while preserving the charm that made Maleny Grove so special.
“This revitalisation reflects our deep commitment to creating a lifestyle that truly meets the needs and aspirations of today’s retirees,” she said.
“We’re proud to see construction well underway, bringing us closer to delivering an environment that supports health, connection and wellbeing.”
