October 2025 Construction Update
Pathways and planting as the transformation of Maleny Grove advances
It’s full steam ahead at Maleny Grove, where works are advancing steadily to prepare the site for the next exciting stages of development.
From earthworks and drainage to landscaped walkways, every activity is bringing us closer to revitalising our beautiful community.
This month, filling and compaction continues across the site, ensuring the ground is stable and ready for future construction, and work has commenced on boulder retaining walls, including excavation and footing preparation for a strong and secure base. Pit excavation is also progressing in readiness for the arrival of the large stormwater detention tank which will form a key part of the site’s long-term drainage and water management system.

Elsewhere, the northern boulder retaining wall is being extended and erected, helping to shape and stabilise the landscape, and stormwater infrastructure is being installed across the site to ensure effective drainage before road and building works advance.
Meanwhile, the roundabout upgrade has now been successfully completed, improving access and traffic flow.
We are especially excited about the transformation of the new walkway and landscaped garden area, which is already starting to take shape.
Vegetation clearing is complete and safety fencing has been installed, as well as a smooth concrete pathway to create an accessible walkway for residents.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll see this area truly come to life with garden beds framing the walkway, fresh turf softening the landscape, and the planting of orchid trees to bring colour, shade and seasonal beauty as they mature.
Once complete, this new landscaped walkway will provide a pleasant and inviting space for residents to enjoy while moving through the village.
We look forward to keeping you updated as these works progress and thank you for your support as we continue shaping the next stage of Maleny Grove’s community.
